All of us have stress in our lives and often we do not know how to properly manage it. “Adapt to Stress” is a four week (5 class) series that will cover specific adaptogenic herbs each week that help your body better manage stress. You will leave each class with a tea and medicinal tincture (that you make) centered around that week’s herb. The last day of the series will be hosted at Megan’s home where the class will have breakfast, consume more medicinal, adaptogenic herbs and have a medicine making day! You will leave this series better knowing how to listen to your body, understanding the benefit of adaptogenic herbs and taking home some new, natural medicine.
Megan is an avid lover of nutrition and herbs. She has her masters of medical science in human nutrition from the University of Sheffield in England and has since then worked with clients, taught many classes and has now worked as a professor of anatomy, physiology and nutrition for the past two years. Megan has also studied herbal medicine from Herbalism Roots in Denver, Colorado as herbs are something that have brought her a lot of personal healing and growth. She is excited to share her love and passion with the community of Redding.
